Support Baxter!

Baxter needs your help. The work at Baxter – in the classroom, in the clinic, and in the city of Tegucigalpa – is fully supported by gifts from generous churches, organizations, and individuals around the world. Every book in our library, every prescription in our pharmacy, and every house and church building built in the community is a direct result of someone’s generosity.

We continuously try to grow our enrollment, and we urgently need your support toward students’ scholarships. The cost for a single student is $650 a month, and $900 for a married couple. This money covers room and board, school uniforms, textbooks, the computer lab, tuition, weekend ministry assignments, six-month internship for seniors, and the annual campaigns.

Chapel

Of course, our first priority is always supporting our primary educational mission with student scholarships. But there are other important ways you can support Baxter:

  • Prayers for the success and safety of our faculty, staff, and students;
  • Guest speakers and instructors are invited to speak or have workshops;
  • Medical or dental personnel are needed in the Baxter Clinic;
  • Groups of all sizes to join us for short-term mission trips and medical brigades;
  • Donations to support campus construction and remodeling projects.

Planned Giving

Some have asked how to make lasting donations to Baxter in the form of estate planning, property, etc. One former member of our Board of Directors has provided an excellent summary of the advantages of such a gift, both for Baxter and for the donor. If you are interested in these options, we encourage you to contact Baxter so we can begin the conversation.

No matter the size of your gift, thank you! The Lord’s work in Central America is fueled by your generosity.
