Christian Training Program

P.E.C.

The Christian Training Program (El Programa de Entrenamiento Cristiano), is an option of intensive Bible study designed as an alternative for those brothers and sisters, leaders, and workers of the church of Christ that crave better preparation and for various reasons can’t enroll in the regular program of studies at Baxter. The objective of P.E.C. is to train these workers so that they can perform their evangelistic and ministerial labors in an effective way.

How does the P.E.C. work?

A Diploma in Biblical and Ministerial Studies is offered, structured with a curriculum of twenty subjects in total (10 biblical classes and 10 ministerial classes). The program emphasizes the spiritual, biblical, ministerial, and intellectual development of the student. It lasts two years, and each class lasts one month according to the schedule. The academic year is from February to November. The program is entirely virtual and in an asynchronous format (pre-recorded classes) so that students can create their own schedule as it suits them. Classes are conducted through the Institutional Virtual Learning Platform in the asynchronous mode.

WHAT ARE THE REQUIREMENTS TO ENTER THE P.E.C.?

1. To have a strong conviction of your calling, vocation, and commitment to the cause of Jesus Christ.
2. Fill out the application form.
3. The cost is symbolic; the annual investment is $60.00 and can be made in two payments, the first of $30 and the second of $30.
4. Send a letter of recommendation from the congregation where you meet.
5. Comply with the academic and conduct standards established by the Baxter Institute.
6. To receive the Diploma in Biblical and Ministerial Studies from the Baxter Institute, the student must have completed all twenty subjects.
7. The minimum passing grade in each course is 70%.

    WHO ARE THE TEACHERS OF THE P.E.C. PROGRAM?

    The Baxter Institute faculty is responsible for providing 20 different subjects with a biblical or ministerial emphasis (sometimes graduates of this institution are used).
