About our dental clinic

Every weekday morning, the five dental chairs in Baxter’s clinic are occupied. Patients have come for dental evaluations, X-rays, cleanings, fillings, and for extractions. If not too complicated, surgery can be done on Wisdom teeth as well as emergency treatments and medication given. For more complicated cases, the patient is sent to a specialist. Preventative treatments include gel or fluoride varnish treatments and pit and fissure sealants

Dentist Karen López

Dr. Karen López is the staff dentist and, together with university dental interns, carries out diagnoses, treatments, and prevention of dental diseases in patients.

In addition to her outstanding professional career, Karen is a member of the Church of Christ Kennedy faith community.

Dr. Adam Hall

Each year, Dr. Adam Hall of National Park Church, Arkansas, visits us for a special dental brigade. Thanks to his efforts and the support of our dental clinic staff, many of our students and their children have received check-ups and braces.
