They leave their families and friends and many are financially unable to return home during their four years at Baxter. Presently, they come from 12 different nations \u2013 as far south as Bolivia, as far east as the Dominican Republic, and as far north as Mexico. The sacrifices are numerous, some of which relate to adaptation to another culture and the uncertainty of employment once they graduate. <br><br>Yet to know the married students\u2019 families is to be awed by their commitment to Jesus and His Kingdom and to fall in love with their precious children. It is inspiring to hear them, both the single students and those who are married, speak of God\u2019s amazing grace in their lives.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-columns is-layout-flex wp-container-core-columns-is-layout-9d6595d7 wp-block-columns-is-layout-flex\">\n<div class=\"wp-block-column is-vertically-aligned-center is-layout-flow wp-block-column-is-layout-flow\">\n<figure class=\"wp-block-video\"><video controls src=\"https:\/\/baxterinstitute.edu\/wp-content\/uploads\/videos\/first-day-of-classes-clase-inaugural-2023-comp.mp4\"><\/video><\/figure>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-column is-vertically-aligned-center is-layout-flow wp-block-column-is-layout-flow\">\n<p>To know Baxter\u2019s student body is to know their families.
