Today there are over <a href=\"https:\/\/baxterinstitute.edu\/index.php\/academics\/alumni\/\" data-type=\"page\" data-id=\"1247\">800 graduates<\/a> of Baxter\u2019s residential program, ministers and families involved in a variety of ministry settings all across Latin America and in the U.S.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-columns is-layout-flex class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Baxter\u2019s resident training program <\/strong>is a four-year, university-level, academic program. It is supplemented with weekend church ministry assignments and an annual evangelistic campaign. Once a Baxter student reaches his fourth year of studies, he is sent off for a six-month capstone ministry apprenticeship known as <strong><a href=\"\/index.php\/pam-internships\" data-type=\"link\" data-id=\"\/index.php\/pam-internships\">PAM<\/a><\/strong>. All of his studies prepare him\/her for this full-time experience. Hundreds are baptized each year by Baxter students as they participate in these activities.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-columns is-layout-flex wp-container-core-columns-is-layout-8f761849 wp-block-columns-is-layout-flex\">\n<div class=\"wp-block-column is-vertically-aligned-center is-layout-flow wp-block-column-is-layout-flow\" style=\"flex-basis:33.33%\">\n<div class=\"wp-block-uagb-inline-notice uagb-dismissable uagb-inline_notice__align-left uagb-block-8152eae9\"><button class=\"uagb-notice-close-button\" type=\"button\" aria-label=\"Close\"><\/button><h4 class=\"uagb-notice-title\"><strong><em><strong><em>Additional Academic Programs<\/em><\/strong><\/em><\/strong><\/h4><div class=\"uagb-notice-text\">\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>In addition to the resident ministry training program,<\/strong> Baxter offers a one-year correspondence course through the <a href=\"\/index.php\/celo-leadership-training\/\"><strong>CELO<\/strong><\/a> program. A three-year program, <strong><a href=\"\/index.php\/pec\" data-type=\"link\" data-id=\"\/index.php\/pec\">PEC<\/a><\/strong>, is offered by Zoom on Saturdays and provides area-wide leadership training. Various seminars are offered yearly for the students and those beyond Baxter\u2019s gates. The Baxter faculty also offers its services to assist in the planting and developing of local churches.
